Aina Calvo Sastre es Secretaria de Estado de Igualdad y contra la Violencia de Género. Es licenciada en Filosofía y Letras y doctora en Ciencias de la Educación, y Profesora Titular de Universidad en el Departamento de Pedagogía Aplicada y Psicología de la Educación de la Universitat de les Illes Balears. Ha ostentado diversos cargos políticos entre los que cabe destacar: diputada del Grupo Parlamentario Socialista en el Parlament de les Illes Balears (2003-2004), subdirectora General de Cooperación y Promoción Cultural Exterior en la Dirección General de Relaciones Culturales y Científicas (MAEC-AECID) (2004-2006); alcaldesa de Palma (2007-2011); copresidenta del Consejo de Municipios y Regiones de Europa (2011); portavoz del Grupo Municipal Socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Palma (2011-2015) y directora de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) (2018-2020). Medalla de la Orden Nacional del Mérito de Francia (octubre 2021). Delegada del Gobierno en Illes Balears desde febrero de 2020.
